I recognize seafood is a healthy choice for me and my family and one of the leanest proteins with a variety of nutrients.

The Seafood Nutrition Partnership aims to reduce the risks of heart disease, improve baby brain wellness and increase memory for seniors by educating Americans about the health benefits of sustainable seafood and building awareness of seafood’s essential nutritional value.

By pledging to eat at least two servings of seafood each week as recommended by the USDA Dietary Guidelines, I know I will help me and my family improve our health.

Did you know eating seafood twice a week can reduce your risk of heart disease by at least 36% and give you more energy throughout the day?

So join us by taking the healthy heart pledge. Click here to take the healthy heart pledge, and make a promise to yourself to eat at least two seafood meals a week, and improve your heart health. Your heart will thank you later.

The 2015 Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend at least two servings of seafood per week to take in adequate amounts of lean protein, omega-3s, vitamins, and minerals. Unfortunately, 80-90% of Americans are missing these critical nutrients.
