I recognize seafood is a healthy choice for me and my family and one of the leanest proteins with a variety of nutrients.
The Seafood Nutrition Partnership aims to reduce the risks of heart disease, improve baby brain wellness and increase memory for seniors by educating Americans about the health benefits of sustainable seafood and building awareness of seafood’s essential nutritional value.
By pledging to eat at least two servings of seafood each week as recommended by the USDA Dietary Guidelines, I know I will help me and my family improve our health.

The 2015 Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend at least two servings of seafood per week to take in adequate amounts of lean protein, omega-3s, vitamins, and minerals. Unfortunately, 80-90% of Americans are missing these critical nutrients.

Melissa Hehmann, Meijer and SNP IND coalition member, will do a seafood cooking demo and collect pledges
Pacers game with Detlef Schrempf
SNP spokesperson and former Indiana Pacer Detlef Schrempf will sign autographs at halftime, and the SNP IND team will collect Healthy Heart Pledges from attendees while promoting the health benefits of eating seafood.
